It is hard to believe that here we are at Christmas! For many, this may not be the most joyous time of the year because of loss and other difficulties in life. Yet, the very reason Jesus came was to bring peace, the forgiveness of sin, and love to all. Another name for Jesus is Immanuel—it means God with us. We can be assured that the Lord is with us no matter the day or hour or what is happening in our lives.

My invitation to you this Christmas, no matter where your heart is, is to understand that you are loved by God. That the Lord is with you and that you are not alone. Take joy in knowing that the message of the angels on that Christmas morning was to rejoice because the Savior was born. His name is Jesus—and Jesus loves you more than we can grasp but His love brings a sense of belonging that only knowing Him personally can bring. Let this Christmas be a time for you to discover fresh and new a personal relationship with the Savior, Jesus, Immanuel—God with us.

Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30 and put Christmas Eve Service on your calendar that will be at 5:00 this year!
