December 1: PRAISE: Thank the Lord for our Fireman, First Responders, Police etc. (Galatians 5:13, Philippians 2:5-7) PRAYER: Pray for those public servants who watch over us and have to leave their own families to respond to others in need.

Have you ever heard a siren and saw an ambulance or fire truck go screaming by? And then at that moment you are prompted in your heart to pray for whatever situation they are responding to? I think of our own Fred Swihart who is a Paramedic and the situations he encounters when on duty.

Let us pray today for Fred and all the other public servants who care for those in greatest need that the Lord would give them wisdom in each situation and also protect them in each situation. Praise God for those who are willing to serve!
