Overcomer--a word that should be fitting for all of us. In Romans 8 we are told that there is

nothing that can separate us from the love of God. As you continue to read it tells you and I that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS because of the love of Jesus. Wow! This tells me that there is nothing we will face that the Lord is not present with us to help.

In the weeks to come many in the church are attending the Fall Bible Study and learning from God’s Word on how to overcome every obstacle that may come our way. On Sunday mornings I will be preaching on the promises that are ready for us to claim as overcomers through Jesus. Our God is faithful to work in and through us! Jesus has already defeated the enemy of our souls and His victory is ours! The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:57, “But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” It’s there for us to claim! An overcoming life has already been given to us! Now is the time for us to begin to walk as overcomer’s and to see how the Lord will work in our lives.

Imagine being able to overcome troubles in your life with hope, help, and strength! It is all

possible because of Jesus. BUT—yes, there is a catch to all this—you MUST walk it out in your life, trusting the Lord to work in and through you every single day! You MUST claim God’s Word over your life and seek Him daily, trusting the power of the Lord to bring you through it all! Come friends, let us walk in the VICTORY Christ gave His life for us to win and walk in!
