Day 3 of 21 Days of Praise and Prayer--Friends

November 16: PRAISE: Give thanks for your friends—the special people God has placed in your life. (John 15:12-15; Romans 12:10) PRAYER: Pray for your friends today one by one as their names come to mind.

What a beautiful thing it is to have people in your life that love you for who you are. They are cherished gifts that have come into our lives and today we are invited to give thanks for each one. This is also one of the blessings of belonging to a church family, you create a bond with one another as you pray together, cry together, laugh together, and worship together.

Proverbs 17:17 says that a friend loves at all times--it isn't just those times when things are going good--but it is through the hard times of life that true friendship shines. In all times--think today of those who have walked with you through your life--some may not be here any longer and yet others still remain.

Today we give thanks for our friends who have come and gone over all the years of our lives and pray for those who still remain.

I would also invite you to give thanks today for our closest and dearest friend--Jesus. The one who never leaves us or forsakes us. His love is everlasting!
