Once again we are reminded of the importance of love and respect in our relationships--no matter the relationship. How very important it is for us to love one another and to honor one another. We are in a chaotic world right now where judgmental attitudes are flying every direction and seldom do you hear a calm voice to bring clarity and hope.

Today, we are reminded that whatever we do we are to work at it with all of our heart because we are working for the Lord and not humankind. What would happen in our world if everyone took this stance on our work, play, and everything that we do in relation to one another? This is something for us to deeply ponder today. It is something to ask ourselves--whether working or retired--are my actions, words, and thoughts today as unto the Lord? How I am treating others--is it unto the Lord? How I am talking about others--is it unto the Lord?

Food for thought today--am I aware of all that I do reflects on how I am serving the Lord?
