In order to influence the world around us, we as the church need to be willing to put our lives under the spotlight of God to examine our own hearts to see if there is anything contrary to God's ways in us--our words, thoughts, and actions.

Our testimony is crucial. There are so many in our world who are unsure of the gospel message--unsure of God's grace to be extended to them. We also need to be aware of pointing fingers at those who we "think" are doing wrong yet we do the same things but don't see those thoughts, words, or actions within ourselves to be wrong..

Paul's argument about the law it to open the eyes in order to understand that without God's work of grace in our lives we would be lost in sin, separated from God. It is the working of the Spirit of God in our hearts that makes the difference--not following a set of do's and don't's.

Let us live our lives in such a way that others are drawn to Jesus in us.

Have a Jesus filled day!

Be sure to read Romans 3 for tomorrow.
