Unity in Prayer--Day 5

Reminder: Unity in Prayer is Monday-Friday until Christmas Eve. Day Six will be on Monday the 8th.

I Timothy 2:1-4--I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.

Prayer:

Almighty God, today I pray for our government. I pray blessing on their households and families. I pray for those in authority to surrender to You to lead and guide them. I pray You would give them wisdom to lead and for peace and healing to flood our nation, and the truth would prevail. Move in ways that are beyond what we could ask for, and dream of, or imagine because that is the kind of God You are. Work all things for good for those who love You. I pray those in authority will surrender to You. I pray Your Name would become known and You would do a supernatural work in our nation, as we become desperate for more of You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
