What a mighty God we serve! Yes, in the midst of all that is happening, He is still Lord, He is still the King of kings, He is still our loving and compassionate Savior! Listen once again (read out loud) the Word of the Lord:

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God! They are brought to their knees and fall, BUT WE RISE UP AND STAND FIRM!" Psalm 20:7-8

(Replace the we with I..."I trust, I rise up and stand firm")

Yes my friends--as we trust the Lord in ALL things, even in the midst of pandemic and stay at home recommendations, we can stand firm! Stand firm in believing God for His continued help and strength. Trusting God to give our leaders and medical professionals the wisdom they need. Trusting God to strengthen the health care workers and essential workers and all who are working tirelessly to bring an end to all that is going on. But ultimately, all is in God's hands and we stand together, RISING UP in prayer to the God who hears our prayers. STANDING FIRM in the embrace of our loving Savior who says to the winds and waves (turmoil) "peace be still".

Standing firm with you! Be at peace!
