Peace, Peace: Ephesians 2:11-22 May 15, 2020

If there has been any emotion that has run rampant these past months in the hearts of many it would be anxiety and stress. We have faced an unseen enemy called COVID-19. It has shown its ugly face all over the world and many lives have been adversely affected by it. But the Scripture for today has a beautiful reminder to us in the midst of it all: "For he himself is our peace!" Jesus, the Prince of Peace, the Author and Finisher of our faith came so that we might have PEACE,

This peace is to hold a deep seated place in our heart and mind. Despite all that is going on around us, our faith and trust in Christ establishes the peace in our hearts that can only come through a precious relationship with Jesus. It is in Jesus that everything holds together. We are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and as a result of that, we have FULL ACCESS to Gd our Father.

In these unprecedented times it is crucial that we according to Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS!."

Jesus is your peace!
