There is one line in this portion of Scripture that I have held on to for many years: "He is before all things and IN HIM ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER." (VS. 17) We have all in our lives experienced those moments when you were not so sure you could "hold it together." The emotions were high, the struggles real, the difficulty to cope at the moment, the desire to throw in the towel--we have all been there.

Reading and understanding that my Savior, Jesus, Creator of all things, not only holds the universe together but He holds you and me together! We don't have to face the trials of this life alone. Jesus helps us through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit to uphold us and give us the strength and wisdom needed to navigate the tough places in our lives. We do not struggle in our own strength but in the spiritual energy that comes from Jesus.

Let us today give thanks for God because Jesus came to save us, help us, and to live a life of joy in His presence!
