Greetings in the precious name of Jesus,

Today is the first day after Easter, a day to continue to rejoice in the goodness of God and to continue to trust His love and care for us. This is a precious time for all of us to draw near to the the Lord for He promises that as we do, He will draw near to us. I have been praying about what to share after Easter and feel that it is time for us all to read the Word of God together and to have a scriptural journey together. Romans 10:16 says, "Yet faith come from listening to the message of good news--the Good News about Christ." Another translation says that "faith comes by hearing the Word of God." Yes, it is the Word of the Lord that strengthens our faith. It is the Word of the Lord that supports us, encourages us, and helps us to grow in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. My invitation to you today is to take a journey with me for the next 16 days as each day we glean something to ponder from the book of Romans. Tomorrow we will begin with Romans chapter 1. Please read it today and then the devotional tomorrow will be from that chapter. Lets learn and grow together as our STAY SAFE AT HOME time continues. Excited for our Scriptural journey together--may our faith be increased as we read and reflect on God's Word together! Pastor Peggy
