Imagine! Ephesians 3:14-21

So many rich thoughts in our portion of Scripture today! There area few key words that in highlighting should help us to understand the heart of these verses. The first is the idea of our "inner being." What exactly does that mean? Our inner being is our feelings, thoughts and purposes. To have this aspect of our life strengthened by the Spirit is crucial. How often do your feeling and thoughts steer your attitudes and behavior?

The entire idea is to understand the crucial work of the Holy Spirit in helping to bring every aspect of our lives under the influence of Jesus. Two more critical words are "rooted" and "established". The idea is that the love of Christ would dwell so deeply in you that it affects all you say and do. The love of Christ is amazing and powerful (Read Romans 8:38-39). You cannot be separated from the love of God!!

To be filled with all the fullness of God is to be aware of God's presence with you always! But how does all this take place in our lives? How can we know the power that desires to work in us more than we could even imagine? The key to it all is to remain full of the Holy Spirit. To yield our thoughts and attitudes to the Word of God and to implement in our lives the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus. This comes through prayer and trusting that God is who He says He is and to know that the Lord desires to work in you and through you for His glory!

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen!
