How's Your Temple?

In Matthew 21:12-13 we read of Jesus, on this second day of Holy Week, cleansing the temple of money changers and declaring for a second time, "It is written, my house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves."

As I reflect on this moment in time I am reminded of what the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God" You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body."

Is my temple cleansed of all that would not glorify the Lord? Is my temple a "place of prayer?" Am I being the best I can be for the Savior who shed His blood for me that I might be declared righteous because of His righteousness?

Today may we ALL declare, "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

What happens on day 3--stayed tuned!
