Fall Days

This morning the wind is blowing and the leaves are scattered all over the yard. It reminded me that the work of Fall cleanup is coming fast upon us and that diligence will be the name of the game to keep up!

This time of year also causes me to think that the change of seasons can be trusted to come whether I want it to or not! Yet, the change brings refreshment with the cool, crisp air. I also love all the fall colors that dot the landscape--red, yellow, rust, orange, and the greens of the pine and cedar trees. All of it blending together to make one beautiful picture.

It is a reminder to all of us that when God created humankind, he created all to show forth the glory of his creation. God is no respecter of persons and offers the beauty of His love to all who would receive it!

Our world right now seems to be in chaos. So much division in various ways, yet, we can be assured that God is sovereign in all things and is working to bring peace to our world and to our lives--just as the change of seasons comes like clock work every year. We need to trust the Lord in all things--no matter the loud voices out there that would encourage us to do just the opposite.
