Life definitely can have its difficult moments. We have all struggled with so many different things in our lives--illness, sorrow, difficult relationships, rejection, hardships of so many varied definitions. But our Scripture today encourages us to know that others are watching us! That should give us a pause today to examine how we deal with the difficulties in our lives.

It doesn't mean that we don't cry, get mad or experience a plethora of emotions in life, but when we confess that we know Jesus and that He is the strength of our lives--it means that in Christ we can have the strength and endurance needed to walk through tough times differently that those who don't have Christ as Savior.

People are watching and when they see you walking in victory through hard times, it gives them courage to do so as well. But how can this be--victory in trials? Yes! The only reason we can emphatically say Yes is because of the strength of Christ in our lives. We are weak but He is strong. We often lack wisdom but the Holy Spirit is our guide and will lead us to understand the truth needed to go forward.

There is a powerful verse in Revelation 12:11a--"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony..." You cannot have a testimony without a test--so, how are you responding to the difficulties in your life--are you trusting the Lord to fully help you?

"Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I." Psalm 61:1-2
